Overture to Mend Each Ache

I wrote this piece in the first days of 2022 as the world continued to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic and its multitude of complications, both known and unknown. I was longing for an end to the sickness, heartache and division while looking for understanding, healing and compassion. This one piece of music surely will not solve all of the world’s problems, but with its diatonic harmony and simple melody, hopefully it brings a bit of light to those who experience it.
